Get to know the Herd
Herd management is an important aspect of raising mini cattle. Mini cattle are small in size, making them ideal for small farms or backyard homesteads. However, it is important to ensure that their living conditions are comfortable, clean and safe. Providing adequate shelter, clean water, and a nutritious diet are essential for the health and well-being of the animals. Regular veterinary check-ups and vaccinations can help prevent the spread of disease. Keeping accurate records of each animal’s health status and breeding history is also important for maintaining the overall health of the herd. By implementing good herd management practices, you can ensure that your mini cattle thrive and remain happy and healthy.
We are committed to maintaining a happy, healthy herd. We screen for BLV, BVD, PHA, Johnes and other diseases that would shorten the life of our cattle and we vaccinate all our cows before they move on to their new homes. We also have a mandatory quarantine period for any new animal joining our farm. Our promise to you is that we are raising the healthiest and happiest animals we can.
